A message from the Founder and CEO Jana M. Arden

With nearly two decades of experience across Europe, the Middle East, Asia, and Australia, I have seen how the interplay of personalities, ambitions, and perspectives can drive remarkable achievements or just as swiftly destroy value and people's health. I understand that every business interaction is shaped by the underlying currents of human behavior and emotion, which influence the decisions of even the most high-performing executive teams. My journey, marked by my professional sports career, advancing through the corporate ranks in global corporations and strategy consulting firms, multiple intercontinental relocations, and navigating high-stakes relationships, has given me a unique perspective on resilience, adaptability, and high performance.

These experiences led me to create a practice dedicated to guiding senior leaders and teams through complex commercial and interpersonal challenges, with a keen focus on the underlying dynamics that drive decisions, relationships, and results. I draw on deep operational experience across the value chain, advanced research in psychology from Harvard University (MLA), leadership training at IMD Business School (MBA), and global mediation accreditation (CEDR, IMI).

While I lead every engagement personally, I am supported by a trusted network of specialists whose expertise allows us to deliver tailored solutions and outstanding care. This collaborative approach ensures each client benefits from diverse perspectives and the highest standards.

At the heart of it all, my purpose is simple: to empower leaders and teams to resolve challenges and move forward, especially when progress seems impossible.

What outliers can tell about diversity?

People’s minds and behaviors. Whether we consider them beautiful, good, bad, or ugly, the way we see others unveils a lot about ourselves. While knowing thyself is not an easy task, every step towards it counts. Learning is indeed a journey. My endeavors of being a psychology researcher, business executive, mentor, and entrepreneur keep challenging me and ‘aha’ and ‘wow’ moments do not come short or painlessly. I often inspire my business mind through research and philosophy. Herewith I would like to share my findings along the way.

This blog is a collection of short notes from the intersection of business and psychology, reminding us to think higher and broader in business and life.

I hope you enjoy it.
